Hello.

Hello everyone. I'm glad we got the MFF site back up. I'm just posting to see how everyone is. I'm doing good. I recently got some of my art work entered into the art show at school, so I'm pretty pumped to see it being displayed. I've been doing alot of art work lately. I've become fascinated with the world of drawing, painting and writing. I decided to delete my old myspace because it caused to much drama. Personally I hate drama but there is no way to escape it. I do whatever it takes to avoid it though.

Love Sam.

P.S. Thank you for buying me that Beatles 1 cd. It really gave me a whole new out look on music. =]

Sam - I'm glad you're enjoying the music. The Beatles are a huge influence on me, especially latley as I've been working on a new record. I keep going back to records like 'Revolver' and 'Rubber Soul' looking for inspiration and ideas. Anway, I'll burn you a couple of other classic rock records you should check out. I think you'll dig 'em. Keep up with your art!

Hey Sam. Do you have any pics of your art that we can see? Good luck with the art show... having your art on display can be both exciting and frightening at the same time.

That Beatles picture I posted is my first ever painting. It may not be that good, but it's the effort I put into it that counts. I really am liken The Who. I think they are absolutely fantastic. I've gotten more into classic rock and old punk bands like Left Over Crack.. yeah they are called Left Over Crack.

when you first posted I thought that was your work but Mark thought it was a poster you found at a vintage music store or something because of its cool retro vibe. needless to say - we're both very impressed with your skillz! looking forward to seeing more...

Sam- Wow! Like Mark I also thought the image was a retro Beatles poster. It's great! Please post more images of your work.

I bet your dad is thrilled that you are a WHO fan. It brings back memories of all the dorks your mom, dad and I hung out with in high school (we were the only non-dorks, of course). Hey your dad used to pay a mean air/tennis racquet guitar, you'll have to ask him about it. :-)

As I recall, the WHO's logo was a British flag which we had painted on the basketball backboard on our garage on Biloba. I, also, recall that the Irish kids in the neighborhood 'egged' the backboard a couple of times. Luckily, the eggs were relatively fresh. A waste of good eggs.
Keep the art work coming. Love it!
    Love to all.

    Hi Sam,
I love your drawing and I also used to worship the WHO. Who's next was my favorite album for years and every time I hear a track from it, I think of surfing - I used to listen to a tape (not scotch tape or duct tape) of them while driving to or from surfing.

Keep it up. I wish I had some artistic talent like you obviously have.
