Hi Family - I hope everyone has checked the Fabulous Family website recently and seen the pix of the "pies" in Italy. Sounds like it was a great trip - and made even more memorable with having been in the midst of the Pope's funeral.

We were in Florida at the same time and we had a very interesting and fun vacation. We left Bonita Springs to go to Key West and spent two nights there exploring the little island which is two miles by four miles and has about 300 bars including Jimmy Buffet's Margueritaville. We also went to Ernest Hemmingway's home and took a guided tour. It was very interesting. "Hem" loved cats and especially collected cats with six toes. There are still about 50 cats that live on the premises and are taken care of by special caretakers. After we left Key West we drove to South Beach Miami and stayed at a hotel on Ocean Drive which is where many of the hotels that were built in the 30's and 40's are located. It is very "art deco" which means they have not changed the architechture and actually have laws that state the architechture must be presevered, so even when the hotels are renovated or new ones designed, they must be in the same type of architechture. I loved it!!! We are going back (hopefully) in January when they have "art deco weekend."

Paul is working on his show "ROCKSHOW" which is supposed to go up this month for an eight week trial run at a club off-Broadway. Paul, let's hear more about that on the family website.

Kristin, I'm not sure everyone in the family is sure about how to post blogs, so would you send an e-mail out again to everyone as a refresher?

Hi All! We made it back from a magical trip to Italy, but have jumped back in to the super fast pace of our lives so quickly that I barely have had time to even look at the pictures we took. So tonight I am posting a few, although the narrative to go along with them will have to wait.

I will mention that my favorite parts were the stunningly beautiful train ride from Florence to Rome and the 30th birthday I spent hanging out at the Colosseum on a bright 70 degree afternoon.

Mark's favorite was the non-stop motorcades that interrupted our romantic sidewalk cafe evenings in Rome (kidding... he was getting really irritated with them actually).
